Hello Everybody, how has your weekend been?
I had a wonderful weekend! Together with my dear friend Jenny I went to Amsterdam where we did some retail therapy and had some quality time at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam.
As you might have seen on my Instagram we had some delicious tea’s and macarons. I love the Waldorf Astoria, it is such a calm place that offers all the luxury you might need!
Now that the weather has been cooling down it is also time to dress up a bit warmer. Because its becoming more windy outside I decided to put on a warmer coat. I’ve been in love with long camel coats for quite some time and now it’s finally time to wear one! I got this fabulous coat at Zara and it is featured in Zara’s current collection.
The woolen coat is very comfortable to sea and what I really like is the design. It has a straight cut with classic lapel and looks very timeless. You can wear this coat with a pair of jeans and sneakers but can also dress it up for a more formal look. I am quite tall (1.90m) and therefor I often have issues with the fit of coats. This camel color coat is a size L and fits me perfectly!
Under my coat I am wearing this fabulous Balmain pullover. This item has been designed by Olivier Rougstein in the collaboration with H&M which was launched last year. The pullover has a luxurious look and feels so soft. The golden buttons on the shoulder really represent Balmain in and out. It adds a bit of unexpected glamour to the look and matches with the hand made Lion patch which is on the chest. This is such an iconic item and I love to wear it in the fall. I like that H&M has a yearly collaboration with high end fashion designer! This year it is going to be Kenzo, are you excited?
People that know me, know that I can’t go without a good black skinny! My staple is the Cheap Monday Dropped which you’ve seen on my blog before. It is just so comfortable and I don’t want to take it off. A black trouser matches really well with the camel coat, although I really want to wear a jeans with the Camel Coat as well.
The shoes I am wearing are my Church’s Houston Chelsea Boots. These Calfskin leather boots are so classic and go with any outfit. I know have them for over a year and they still look great! It makes me so happy to see that when you invest in good, timeless items you can wear them any moment!
Talking about timeless items, a couple of years ago I purchased these Tom Ford Campbell sunglasses. I’ve always had a connection with Tom Ford’s collections, this guy seriously is a genius! Everything he makes is so sexy and gorgeous. The reason why I start about these sunglasses is because I was so surprised to see that Tom Ford still sells these lovely sunglasses in their main collection! Isn’t that great? Some things never go out of style.
